About Ppmly
Ppmly is a small piece of software for the person who keeps a building serviced in the United Kingdom. It has two halves. The PPM check sheet is free and works out, from your own figures, the checks a planned visit covers, the hours it takes, the defects it is likely to raise and what a year of the regime comes to. Ppmly Pro is the record those visits become: every asset with its service interval, the schedule those intervals produce, every visit marked complete against the asset it was done on, and the defects it raised, kept and exportable at any time.
Why this site exists
This site exists because planned maintenance is judged after the fact. Nobody asks about the schedule while it is working; they ask afterwards, when there has been a failure, a claim or a change of agent, and the question is always whether the asset was on the regime and whether the visit happened. That is a record problem, and it is usually solved with a spreadsheet that only one person can read.
Who it is for
The facilities manager, property manager, managing agent or maintenance supervisor of a UK site or small portfolio, with a spreadsheet of service dates and a folder of paperwork somebody will eventually ask for
Not a homeowner or tenant arranging a repair, not a contractor running their own job book, not a factory maintaining a production line, and not anyone measuring parts per million
What it does not do
- No statutory rule text and no certificates: what an inspection requires and who is competent to certify it are the regulator's and the competent person's, not ours
- No opinion on whether an asset is safe: the record shows what was done and when, and the engineer on site decides the rest
- No contractor ranking, no quotes and no introductions: we sell no leads and publish no contractor's price
- No parts per million: this site is about planned preventative maintenance, and the other sense of the initialism is a different trade entirely

What Ppmly Pro keeps
Upgrading turns the sheet into the register. The assets you sized become the asset register; the intervals become a schedule that says what is due this month; the completed visit becomes the proof, dated, against the asset it was done on. Export is always available, so the maintenance history is yours whether or not you stay.
